GOLD MEDAL (1st) !!! WORLD CUP GIANT SLALOM - OCTOBER 25, 2015 SOELDEN, AUSTRIA At 4 wins in Soelden, Ted has won more races on this hill than anyone, beating out Hermann Maier's record of 3 wins. This is Ted's 25th Giant Slalom World Cup win which is the second highest number of GS wins of any male skier ever (top winner is Ingmar Stenmark of Sweden 1989).

MEDAL (1st) !!! - WORLD CUP GIANT SLALOM CHAMPIONSHIP - FEBRUARY 13, 2015 BEAVER CREEK, CO, USA Ted has won 7 World Championship medals, which is the most World Championship medals won by any American skier ever! Only male skier in the world to win 3 gold Championship medals in Giant Slalom! Only skier with 5 straight GS wins on the Beaver Creek race hill.

BEAVER CREEK, COLORADO, USA After winning 23 Giant Slalom World Cup races in his career, Ted ties Michael von Gruenigen of Switzerland (2003),
both having the second highest number of GS wins. Ted is the only racer to win five giant slalom World Cup races in Beaver Creek.

GIANT SLALOM OVERALL WORLD CUP GLOBE WINNER 2013-2014 !!! AWARDED AT FIS WORLD CUP ALPINE FINALS LENZERHEIDE, SWITZERLAND - MARCH 15, 2014 This is Ted's 5th Giant Slalom Globe. First American to win over 3 Giant Slalom Globe Titles. Ted has won 22 World Cup GS races which is third in total number of GS World Cup wins in the world behind Michael von Gruenigen of Switzerland with 23 (2003) and Ingmar Stenmark of Sweden with 46 (1989). Ted is second man in history to have 2 seasons with 5 or more World Cup GS wins (Stenmark has done it 3 seasons).

SILVER MEDAL (2nd) !!! WORLD CUP DOWNHILL - MARCH 12, 2014 LENZERHEIDE, SWITZERLAND Ted tied for 2nd which is his first Downhill podium. He was only 0.11 of a second from winning! Ted and Bode Miller are the only 2 Americans to get on the podium in all 5 Alpine Skiing World Cup race disciplines and they are in a group of only 8 from any country to have ever accomplished this feat. Ted is now in 3rd place in the Overall World Cup standings for the 2013-2014 race season.

MEDAL OLYMPIC GIANT SLALOM SOCHI, RUSSIA FEBRUARY 19, 2014 * Only US male to win two Olympic GOLD medals in Alpine Skiing ever! * Only other American to win two Olympic Gold medals in Alpine Skiing was the woman Andrea Mead Lawrence in 1952 (62 years ago)
